Founder and Counsellor
Vera founded Expressive Art Therapy with the vision to heal and enhance the life of others. She brings years of experience, skills and dedication to the forefront. She has studied a Bachelor of Science (Majoring in Psychology) at Monash University followed by a Graduate Diploma of Counselling at the Australian College of Applied Psychology. Vera's main interests is in counselling groups and individuals with disabilities.
Ranae Walker

Renae is an enthusiastic and knowledgeable part of our team. She provides office support to the team that is vital for the smooth running of the business.
Support Worker
Renae is an enthusiastic and new Support Worker to the Expressive Art Therapy team. She has 18 months of experience as a support worker and enjoys making creative, comfortable and positive environments so that all clients are involved and leave feeling energised.
Dina Goldberg
Marketing Execuitive
Dina has been working in administrative and book keeping roles for the past twenty years. She regularly volunteers with elderly recipients and vulnerable people in the community.
Anne Billings
Support Worker
Anne is a dedicated team member of Expressive Art Therapy.
Anne Billings is a community support worker that has been working over 15 years in residential care. She has always strives to ensure the clients are engaged with creative and meaningful activities.
Annabelle Taylor
Support Worker
Annabelle is passionate about working with people from diverse communities and backgrounds. When working with people with special needs she incorprates Music Therapy, Drama Therapy, Diversional Therapies and Choral Work. She is a dedicated team member and loves making a difference to others. Annabelle finds music a very rewarding tool when used in communication between people when words are not enough. She ensures the support work sessions are joyful and seek to meet the needs of each client individually.
Amanda Filleul
Counsellor and Support Worker
Amanda is enthusiastic, compassionate and dedicated person. She is has an educational background that includes a Diploma and Bachelor of Visual Arts, a dual certificate in Aged and Home & Community Care with a Post Graduate Diploma in Pastoral Counselling. She is currently studying Master of Art Therapy at Latrobe University.
Amanda has ten years’ experience facilitating social support programs, with art being her primary speciality within the fields of disability and mental health. More recently she has also worked with Holocaust survivors and older culturally diverse participants living within the Jewish community.
Leonid Gaisinovitch
Art Teacher
Leonid has studied art from distinguished Australian artists and has a long time affiliation with Glen Eira Cheltenham Art Group. Leon loves to reflect beauty of nature in every day paintings and drawings. He enjoys exhibiting his art work at galleries and has won first price at the Exhibition of Orchids Arts. He is passionate in teaching skills he has learned to people in the community and encourage them to see beauty of art like he does.
Shannon Klass
Support Worker
Shannon, who recently graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree specialising in materials science, contributes valuable expertise to our disability support team. With a background as a private aide at a local primary school, Shannon is driven by his passion for inclusivity and is committed to enhancing the lives of everyone around him.
